Our New Zealand tour was very successful with lots of laughter and great memories.
Here is some of memorable scene from our tour.
Direct flight to Auckland by Hawaiian air, always great service and lots of great movie selections!
First we visit Waitomo, we went see glowworm in cave. Who would think worms made us so excited, small lights everywhere in dark cave. Unfortunately we are not allowed to take pictures but this is one of MUST TO SEE site in NZ. Traveled to Rotorua to see Maori Culture, exciting LUGE ride down the hill, relax in Polynesian Spa by the beautiful lake. As you imagine, there are lots of sheep in NZ, we got to see and feed them at AgroDome, cute baby lamb is so adorable. Also from here we started to see full bloom cherry blossoms. It was totally unexpected. Enjoyed activities, sightseeing, relaxing and eating in North Island.
Then we went to Auckland after visiting famous Hobbiton – The site of Lord of the Ring shooting location. The one hour tour is full of insight information for making movie and you will be surprised how much effort was put in to make this charming village so real!!
We said good bye to North Island – our drive was one of proud Maori worrier descendant, we exchanged Maori greeting which is to touch nose.
Hello to South Island-
Beautiful scenery welcome us, airport is hustle free, our hotel is right by the water in Queenstown, such charming place to be. You should not miss great food in town along with dessert! One day optional tour to Milford Sound is quite drive but seeing mountains over 4000 meters on both side of water, cute live animals (penguins and others) in front of you was priceless. Also extreme activity is available for you to enjoy.
We also stayed at inside of Mt. Cook National Park. There are many luxuries available if you can afford,but you can’t expect nature to treat you in your favor, we are so lucky to have great weather on our 1 night stay, you can see Mt. Cook from the room, star shining so bright at night, just spectacular view of mountain so close and large, breathe taking scale, you will probably feel how small we are and how great nature is. You must visit New Zealand, enjoy contrast of North and South Island, feel the warmth of people you will come across during your stay, enjoy great foods not to forget delicious dessert too.
